Polish companies have proved many times that they can compete without complexes with foreign producers.
This time, FACH-PAK, using several years of commercial experience in the industry, combined them with its production capabilities. This is how the first Polish line of containers insulated with foamed polyethylene (PE) for food processing (in particular for fish and meat processors) was created. The containers are also successfully used by recipients of food waste as a stronger version of the standard single-walled box.
The idea of creating insulated containers was initially related to the Scandinavian fishery environment and their unique construction by placing insulation in the form of polyurethane foam between two external walls. This product was mainly used by fishermen to transport freshly caught fish on board and then go to local processing plants. European customers, mainly fish and meat processors, have started to use insulated containers as a stronger version of pallet boxes. PUR foam insulation, however, turned out to be not always a perfect solution. In case of cracks in the outer coating, water soaked by PUR easily penetrates into the inside of the containers, e.g. during cleaning. The containers quickly deformed and gained weight by “drinking” the liquid and absorbing moisture.
– The decision to start the production of our own brand of insulated containers was good choice. We managed to master the complex technology of manufacturing containers with polyethylene foam insulation in a relatively short time and today we are the third major company in Europe and the only one in Poland that can produce this type of containers. In the near future, PUR insulation (polyurethane) will also be added to the offer – said Tomasz Budrewicz, from FACH-PAK – In addition, we deeply believe that the European and global market for industrial packaging made of plastics will consolidate. Only companies with a strong product will survive. This makes us invest in not easy solutions that can make a difference not only on the European but also global market. A few years ago, we set a clear development direction for ourselves and we are consistently implementing our targets. But that’s alright, we’re just getting started! – adds Budrewicz.
Meeting the needs of the most demanding customers, FACH-PAK has started the production of this type of containers, using foam in the form of expanded polyethylene for their insulation. This insulation tightly fills every gap between the walls, providing less thermal insulation, but it makes the container practically a monolith. Containers are more durable, stronger, easy to repair and 100% recyclable. Using the rotomoulding method for their production the manufacturer from Słupsk offers the possibility of making a special production in many colours, optionally marking with screen printing, engraving or by using “Mold in Graphics” that last on containers for good. The highest quality materials used for production approved by the National Institute of Hygiene and FDA allow them to come into direct contact with food. The lack of edges and smooth walls allow to keep them hygienic clean. Their special application have become processing branches like fish, meat, poultry and food waste CAT.3
The current situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic shows how important it is to use hygiene products. FACH-PAK insulated containers minimize the accumulation of microorganisms due to their monolithic and smooth construction. They are easy to clean and thanks to the internal core made of foamed polyethylene they do not absorb external moisture. The internal PE insulation guarantees additional safety of the product inside. The walls are three-layered and therefore extremely resistant to mechanical impact. The lid also available in the offer additionally protects the containers against contamination from the outside.
– All these advantages put our insulated containers at the top of the packaging solutions of this type available on the market. No standard box-pallet can guarantee such a level of food safety and we are glad that the customers started to notice it and rapidly decided to introduce hygienic insulated containers from FACH-PAK on the market – summed up Tomasz Budrewicz.
The leader in the construction of washers for containers, pallets and boxes also relies on hygienic containers from FACH-PAK – The containers are easy to clean, low maintenance costs make them extremely practical. In addition insulated containers meet the highest quality standards in the washing process. Taking mentioned in consideration, with full conviction we recommend FACH-PAK insulated containers – stated Mateusz Lisiak, quality specialist at CHEMAXPOL Sp. z o.o. Also tests carried out by the company from Ostaszewo prove that the amount of water used to wash them is many times lower than in the case of standard single-walled pallet boxes.
FACH-PAK is great example of a company whose greatest guiding force are the dreams and ambitions of its owners.
Within few years it was possible to transform the company’s profile from commercial to production which is not easy in this industry because only a reasonable company is able to ensure financial flow and development opportunities by purchasing our own machinery which reach dozens and hundreds of thousands of Euro. The company’s success is created by people, this is why we focus on young and ambitious people thanks to them we stay ahead of the competition with speed and flexibility. It pays off every day. FACH-PAK’S portfolio includes not only Polish but also European and global well-known companies whose logos we are everywhere. Among the clients are the largest processors of meat, fish, poultry but also dairy products and many others.
The company’s strength is also determined by the fact that FACH-PAK is a family business where decision-making process is short and each project is treated individually.
From the beginning of the company’s establishment each year we are constantly developing and increasing our turnover investing in the future and purchasing new molds and devices. We do not rest and we also follow all the news. In October 2019, the FACH-PAK team participated in a training course in Arizona, USA where they learned how to mark containers with the most durable method known as “plastic tattooing” – Mold in Graphics. Thanks to the use of this unique technology, we can now mark containers in a permanent way, ensuring that the print will never come off. With no hesitation we can say that our hygienic insulated containers are exported all over the world. Thanks to strong distribution points in Germany, Lithuania, the USA and Russia, the containers reach the farthest corners of the world. FACH-PAK constantly opens up to new markets, each year participating in trade fairs and conferences around the world.
Today FACH-PAK is a company that Sławomir Budrewicz dreamed of when he founded it years ago. Now, however next young and hungry for success generation has come to the fore, so you can be sure that we haven’t said the last word yet!
