Minister of Agriculture at the FACH-PAK stand during AgroBalt 2014

05.04.2014
Once again, the Lithuanian branch of FACH-PAK BALTIC participated in the International "AgroBalt" Trade Fair for Agriculture and Food Industry in Kaunas on April 3-5. This is the largest fair event of its kind in Lithuania and we were one of two Polish companies presenting their products there. During the exhibition, we presented our packaging for food transport and storage, which attracted a lot of interest from the numerous visitors. The most popular was our newest product, a line of perforated containers for the food industry.
During the three-day fair event, our stand was also visited by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Poland, Marek Sawicki, who during his conversation with Aleksander Knude, the director of FACH-PAK BALTIC U.A.B., became very interested in the products offered by our company. The Minister's special attention was drawn by the plastic products, which so far were encountered mainly as wooden ones, such as pallets or box pallets. The meeting was held on the day when the veterinary services of the Russian Federation announced a ban on imports of finished meat products from Poland and Lithuania as of 7 April 2014. The Minister was also accompanied by a delegation from the Lithuanian Parliament together with his Lithuanian counterpart V. Jukna.

"As every year, AgroBalt gathered the majority of potential customers from the Baltic countries, which are the strategic direction for our Lithuanian branch. Our stand was visited by a large group of our regular customers, to whom we presented our latest products and discussed purchase plans for the nearest future. I am glad that Lithuania, too, has a trade fair to be proud of," said Aleksandr Knude.
