Record-breaking Seafood Global Expo in Brussels

28.04.2015
Seafood Expo Global in Brussels is the world's largest exhibition event for companies involved in the fish and seafood industry. Between 21 and 23 April 2015, nearly 26,000 producers, suppliers, media outlets, and other industry professionals from more than 150 countries had a chance to visit company stands, hold business talks, and discuss fish market development opportunities. FACH-PAK once again participated in the event. At our stand, we presented double-walled insulated containers and plastic pallets to a huge number of customers. As every year, the fair was an opportunity to meet our customers from all over the world. Dozens of meetings and hundreds of conversations during those 3 days of the fair were tiring but very fruitful.
"Seafood surprises us more and more every year. Even though we're here every year and it seems as if we've met everyone, we still get new visitors. Having experienced many trade fairs, I can say that the Belgian edition of Seafood is far ahead of any other event dedicated to fish processing. It is a real "celebration of fish", which attracts visitors from all over the world. For us, it is a great opportunity to meet them all in one place, without having to see them in person. I am deeply convinced that this year, too, our presence here will translate into contracts, which motivates us to be here every year. We consider this fair to be a record-breaking one in terms of good contacts as well as direct orders obtained on that day at our stand," said Marcelo Arias from the German branch of FACH-PAK. As every year, business talks moved onto a less official plane, where, over good wine, we summed up together with our partners and customers the hitherto cooperation. On the first day of the fair, in the evening, we experienced the emotions of the Champions League together in the Café des Halles at the Place Saint-Géry, where we were visited by more than 200 people at an open event for our partners and customers. On the second day, traditionally during a gala dinner at "La Rose Blanche" at the Grand Place, we summarised this year's edition of the fair together with our business partners.

"Customers acquired at such trade fairs are of particular value to our company. These are almost always customers who bind themselves to our brand on a permanent basis. They have the opportunity to see our products live and convince themselves of their high quality. In addition, we are often visited by decision-makers at the highest levels of the fish processing industry, with whom we can finalise deals on the spot. Further negotiations after the trade fair no longer take place. This is a great time-saver," said Tomasz Budrewicz from FACH-PAK.
